Dolmix Cal-Caps
Dolmix Cal-Caps

for dairy cows during lactation
GELATIN SPARKLING CAPSULES
Properties
A cow excretes about 2.3 g of calcium per liter of colostrum, so when giving 22–25 liters of colostrum, she loses 50-60 g of this element with it. In the postpartum period, the total calcium requirement is 80 g. Parathyroid hormone produced by the parathyroid glands releases calcium from the bones, blocks its excretion by the kidneys and activates vitamin D3, which allows it to be absorbed from the gastrointestinal tract. When this process proceeds without problems, there is little likelihood of postpartum arrears. Unfortunately, this mechanism is often disturbed and it is necessary to immediately replenish the calcium in the body. Quickly released and perfectly assimilable calcium. To be used in prevention of hypocalcemia, endometritis, mastitis, displaced abomasum, retained placenta and ketosis.
The product is in the form of a bolus, which turns out practical in application.
