Dolbuf PRO is enriched with live yeast which reduce fluctuations of the pH level in the rumen, as well as calcium propionate which helps in increasing the reserves of glycogen in the liver, and the glucose level in blood. These components, along with algae buffer, and sodium bicarbonate create an active buffer system which effectively stabilizes the pH level of the rumen ingesta.
Buffering effect creates good conditions for development of desired micro flora for the propionic acid fermentation, and contributes to keeping the right proportions of acids in the rumen.
